SanDisk Cruzer Glide 128GB (SDCZ60-128G) – Weak NAND Cells Recovered

A customer brought in a SanDisk Cruzer Glide 128GB (SDCZ60-128G) that was completing USB enumeration — the OS played the connection chime and the device appeared on the bus — but failed to mount a readable volume.

To recover the data, we bypassed the drive’s controller and worked directly with the NAND at the physical layer. We performed many sequential re-reads of the same pages allowing full ECC correction and a complete reconstruction of the file system — 100% of the customer’s data was recovered.
