Silicon Motion is a top tier manufacture of flash memory controllers. Silicon Motion controllers provide a standard interface for your computer, camera or card reader to access data from the flash memory chip.
Silicon Motion controller models typically start with SM3xx or SM2xx followed by one or two letters (QF, DF, RF, etc) which indicate the package and two more letters indicating the controller revision (AC, BA, BB, BC, etc)
We are able to recover data from all flash devices that use Silicon Motion controllers. We are also able to repair minor wear damage in the NAND memory chip for most devices using Silicon Motion controllers.
